The institution stemmed from the passion for developing the community and the society. It was the brainchild of Shree Maheshwari Shikshan Sansthan and the foundation was laid with a vision to start a wonderful institution which could generate confidence in the children to fulfill their dream. The foundation was laid on 10th February 2000 on the auspicious day of Saraswati Pooja. The event was ecstatic and attended by host of esteemed guests including Late Smt. Shreeyadevi Bhagirath Rathi. The day was marked with auspicious ‘Bhoomi Pujan’ and ‘Kalash Stapna’. Thus there was a dawn of a new institution which is continuing to do good work and besides providing yeomen services to the society, the school is known for its devotion, dedication and missionary zeal.
Education is the movement from darkness to light’.Keeping this ideation in mind the stalwarts of Shree Maheshwari Shikshan Sansthan decided to start SBR Maheshwari Vidyapeeth with a vision to spread light of education to the community and society. The school was established on Vasant Panchami with 491 students to begin with. Within a decade the school became an accomplished organisation with 1640 students following the mission and vision of embarking upon the upliftment of society and children.
20 th year celebration of SBR Maheshwari Vidyapeeth was a testimony to the remarkable growth of the school and it’s students. Functions and events were organised to celebrate the cumulative growth of two decades.. Under the mentorship of Principal Mrs Sarika Singh, a souvenir “There We Are safar bulandiyon ka” was released on April 29, the inaugural day of ___ Annual Function.The souvenir reflects 20 years of school’s journey right from it’s foundation day till zenith.The souvenir also reflects the milestone achieved ,the academic success graph, the pictorial representation of the school in 20 years and the write-ups of teachers,who have been associated with the school for two decades, and students.

SBR Maheshwari Vidyapeeth, conducted an ‘AD MAD – Mera Product Mera Funda’ competition under its signature event Kaushalya – A kaleidoscope to creativity 2025. About 21 city schools participated in this competition showcasing their talent, creativity and innovative insights. There were cash prizes of Rs 10000, 5000 and 2500 to be won for winner, 1st Runner Up and 2nd Runner Up respectively. Students of Delhi Public school stood first, Unnati English Academy stood 1st Runner Up and SBR Maheshwari Vidyapeeth stood 2nd Runner Up.
Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs conducts ‘Fit India Quiz’ every year from the year 2021.Almost all the schools across the country participate in this quiz. It is conducted in three rounds i.e. preliminary round, Semi- final round and Final round. In the Fit India Quiz’ 2021our two students Pratik Singh and Sarthak Maheshwari stood first and 10th in Gujarat state in preliminary round. Later they stood 1st in semi final round and won cash prize of 25000 for themselves and 2,50,000 for the school.
